If looking good while cooking is just as important as the food itself, then you’re probably a fan of Our house and his kitchen utensils. But if you’re like me and have only admired their products through your phone screen because you’re hesitant to make big purchases, I’ve got some terribly good news for you. And trust me – it’s definitely something to be excited about.
Known as the largest digitally native kitchenware brand responsible for many of the aesthetically pleasing products in your Instagram feed, Our Place has finally opened its first retail location in Los Angeles. The Abbot Kinney location, which officially opens its doors on Monday, November 21, will provide a “really welcoming space where everyone can come together.”
Housed in a beautiful Venice Beach bungalow, the space accommodates both the brand’s signature products and brand-new items perfect for gifting season. And as with its products, aesthetics will be the priority; customers can purchase products in a curated, interactive space designed by Our Place in collaboration with Mythology and Ringo Studio.
What does that mean, you ask? According to the brand, the space will feature textures such as recycled ceramic tile surfaces and limewash painted walls, bright and cozy colors, sculptural displays, a back deck with a striking tablescape, incredible murals and more. But that is not everything. The space will also house the Our Place Café – equipped with tea, boba, haldi doodh and other culturally rooted beverages to enjoy while shopping – and a community-focused backyard for gathering.
While Abbot Kinney’s flagship location is currently open to you, the second location – which can be found on Melrose – will open in the coming weeks.
