Adobe’s latest October update finally added RAW photo support for Google’s Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro smartphones. This way, owners can do more with their phone by throwing high-quality RAW photos into Lightroom.

While Google’s new phone uses the same cameras as last year’s Pixel 6, it took Adobe a while to make sure everything worked as expected. For what it’s worth, Adobe has taken several months to add the Pixel 6 series, so users will be happy to see that the impressive new Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro are already getting support.

It’s worth noting that the updated list includes the Pixel 7 family, iPhone 14, and several others. This update is now available for Adobe Lightroom, Lightroom Classic, and Camera Raw, giving budding mobile photographers more tools.

While this was already technically possible for Pixel 7 owners using Lightroom, official support makes it easier and offers more features like color profiles and more.

Don’t forget to enable RAW support in your Pixel 7 camera app, get out there and take great photos. If you’ve yet to pick up the new phone from Google, grab the latest Pixel 7 Pro from our link below.
